Goods Worth N1.6M Destroyed By Fire In Ilorin, Kwara State

Goods worth of N1.6 million were on Thursday obliterated during a fire outbreak at electronics and furniture shop in Ilorin, Kwara State.

 


The Kwara Fire Service Spokesman, Hassan Adekunle, in a statement posted on his social media handle, said different merchandise worth N1.6 billion were, notwithstanding, securely rescued during the incidence.

The statement reads, 

Today, July 14, 2022, at around 07:49 am, one Mr. Toyosi from Taiwo Area immediately called the Kwara State Fire Service to a fire occurrence at Pillar Mega Show Room (Major vendor in gadgets and furniture), arranged at 72, Taiwo Road, in Ilorin, Kwara State.
We killed the desolating fire on time and saved the super shopping store from obliteration," the main official said.

The official added that they had the option to protect what is happening because of their speedy mediation and the official's adaptability.

According to report, the flare-up was because of unconstrained start. The assessed property saved was N1.6 billion and the assessed property lost was N1.6 million.

Subsequently, the Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade Olumuyiwa, encouraged the overall population, especially the administration of the shopping store, to be more security cognizant by playing protected consistently.
