Abacha Loot: US Government Signs Agreement With Nigeria To Return $23M

The United States government have agree to return $23 million of the Abach loot.


The agreement signing ceremony was held in the office of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami on Tuesday.

While Mr. Malami endorsed in the interest of the Nigerian government, the U.S Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard endorsed for the sake of the U.S government.

According to Mr Malami, the asset when returned will be put resources into three continuous undertakings by the Federal Government, including the continuous Abuja-Kaduna street and the second Niger Bridge.
