Nigerian Lady Caught With Drugs Confesses "I wanted To Raise N5m Ransom To Free My Mother From Bandits" (PHOTO)

 
A 35-year-old female traveler, Jatau Lydia Lami, who was captured by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, for drug dealings, disclosed that she needed to raise N5m as ransom to pay bandits.

The mother of three was caught at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, for endeavoring to trade 1,700 tablets of Tramadol 225mg covered in her baggage to Istanbul, Turkey through a Turkish Airline trip on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

The suspect hails from Zango Kataf LGA of Kaduna State and lives in Istanbul, Turkey with her loved ones.

NDLEA representative, Femi Babafemi, in a proclamation on Sunday, August 7, said the suspect put her activity on strain to raise N5million payoff to liberate her mom from the bondage of bandits who kidnapped her since June.
