Police Saved Pos Money Snatchers From Being Killed By Mob In Abuja

Following the salvage of three POS (Point-Of-Sale) fraudsters who endeavored to grab the money of an administrator at the Lokogoma area of Abuja from being lynched by an irate crowd, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Sunday Babaji has cautioned residents of the FCT to avoid jungle justice.

The saved fraudsters are Francis Emeka Noah, Wua Ikyer and Bokos Terkula, all guys


Spokesperson of the Police Command said, "The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Babaji Sunday, has approached individuals from general society inside the FCT to disregard the uncouth demonstration jungle justice as they continued looking for equity.

"The suspects were immediately saved by the Police and presently in Police authority.

“The CP gave the advisory on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, following the rescue of three alleged fraudsters from angry mob in the Lokogoma area of the FCT on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

“The CP noted that preliminary investigations carried out by the Police revealed that the mob descended on the trio – Francis Emeka Noah, Wua Ikyer and Bokos Terkula, all male, alleged to have attempted to lure and defraud a female Point-of-Sale (POS) operator around Peace Court Estate, along Lokogoma Road, Abuja.

"The CP, while denouncing the demonstration, ordered inhabitants to approach with their grumblings to give space for genuine and quick agreement of equity.

"He underscored the significance of permitting the course of equity regardless of the wrongdoing carried out by a suspect.

"In the mean time, full-scale examination is being conveyed to lay out the reality of the case.

"The CP further cautioned that demonstration of wilderness equity is criminal and deserving of regulation.

"He emphasized the responsibility of the Command to the wellbeing and security of inhabitants across the FCT."
